How similar is Buddhism and Christianity?
Christianity is Abrahamic religion, whereas Buddhism is Vedic religion. Christianity separated from Judaism around 2 thousand years ago, where as Buddhism separated from Hinduism around 2600 years ago. Christianity and Buddhism are based on different principles. Some fundamentals are similar such as love, compassion, tolerance etc. but then these concepts are present in almost all world religions.
