What are your thoughts on AI?

Do you use AI at all? If so, what do you use it for?

Do you think AI will be a danger to humans at all?

One thing I like it for is comedy. For instance, a good new channel on Facebook is The Price is Wrong :D

But in other respects, I see it as dangerous to jobs, security, peace, freedom and other things.

I see it as a danger if it's not controlled.

I mean there will definitely be job loss over it. I think Amazon already laid off a bunch of people because of it.

I had to deal with AI on a customer support line the other day. Honestly, I miss the folks from India. They would get stuff done where AI is too dumb to understand what a human needs based on their emotions.

From a humane standpoint, people need jobs. AI aren't living beings.

That's true. But like with computers, internet, and even smart phones, AI is no different.

All of those replaced jobs.

The problem, though, is that so much is done by machines that people are totally useless, and in that case, how can these people make a living?

I totally agree with you.

People are going to lose work and be forced to take work that pay less as the only option, especially once free government money starts running out and it's going to eventually.

Everything we're paying into social security isn't going to be there for everyone and when that day comes, it's going to be bad in the good ole USA.
