What time of the history fascinates you the most?

There are many different era where mankind has witnessed various things. I was born in early 90s. I never had any good idea about how 80s or 90s actually looked like. So, I would like to travel to those era. Having said that, what time of the history fascinates you the most and why?

Majority of the people during the 1980s were had a mobile phone at all. In the year 1983, Motorola DynaTAC 8000X was released. However, it was not possessed by all the people. I think that it was quite expensive and it was only owned by really rich people at that time.

Primitive mobiles were probably dangerous to health. They were too big, a strong brain cancer risk.

I used to be obsessed with the Civil War! I don't even know why unless it's because some of the old classics I read as a kid mentioned the war. South Carolina used to be the state I always wanted to visit, but then when I went there, it was like every other state I've been in, and nothing really spectacular. Maybe I didn't go south enough?

In Pennsylvania, there are some battlegrounds to visit and what's fascinating is that they talk about how the land is hilly and so the enemies couldn't predict how close the soldiers on the other side were? It really became a slaughterhouse at Antietam.
