Finding the LCM of Monomial Terms with Variables to Same or Different Powers

The highest variable of the pre-LCM terms will be the same as the variable part of the LCM.

\((2x)(3x)\)
2 * 1 = 2 | 2 * 2 = 4 | 2 * 3 = 6

3 * 1 = 3 | 3 * 2 = 6

\((4x)(5x^{2})\)
4 * 1 = 4 | 4 * 2 = 8 | 4 * 3 = 12 | 4 * 4 = 16 | 4 * 5 = 20

5 * 1 = 3 | 5 * 2 = 10 | 5 * 3 = 15 | 5 * 4 = 20
