Yeah, Jesus loves us, but who loves him<\/strong>?\u00a0 And how do you love him<\/strong>? You love him by obeying his moral commands<\/strong>.\u00a0 It’s not about lip-service, but real action.<\/p>\n

John 14:15<\/p>\n

“If you [really] love Me, you will keep and<\/i> obey My commandments.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But the emphasis of this article is about who loves him?\u00a0 He has said he loves us first,<\/strong> but we need to reciprocate the love.<\/p>\n

1 John 4: 19<\/p>\n

“We love Him, because He first loved us.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well, to relate this to real life, I’d say showing you love someone would involve action.\u00a0 Let’s say you have a romantic partner.\u00a0 It’s known that the 5 love languages, so to speak, all involve doing things except the 1st one.\u00a0 It only involves words, but words can be cheap<\/strong>.\u00a0 I mean, look at the world, everything is based on trust: your credit, your romantic life (as we are mentioning now), your employment record etc..\u00a0 So, in that case, it’s easy to see why God wants to trust us, and his trusting us is how we show we love him.<\/p>\n

But why might people not want to show God love effectively?\u00a0 Well,\u00a0 the problem is they don’t love God enough<\/strong>.\u00a0 But what could be causing that<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

Well two reasons are: love of the worldly things,\u00a0 inability to view God as just and deserving of worship.\u00a0 But note that inability of seeing God as just and deserving of worship CAN cause a love of worldly things as you without respect for God, one drifts to idols.<\/p>\n

But viewing God as unjust is just a reasonable answer to how the Church people go to portrays God.<\/p>\n

Matthew 23:13<\/p>\n
