Do people actually like philosophers?

Many philosophers have gained a lots of attention. In the ancient Times, various philosophers were great thinkers. This helped them gain attention from many people around them. In the modern times, many thinkers and ohilosophers are gaining attention on social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok as well. What do you think?

They get criticism for being "too forward", making others uncomfortable.
And the subject can seem elitist and pretentious with the academic language, general disconnect from real people, but it's not the only academic subject with accusations like that.
