Is Suicide and unforgiven sin?
I think it's a sin but the probability of going to what most Christians conceive as hell is incredibly low.Jasabong wrote: Sat Feb 21, 2026 5:17 pm If you're a Christian, it's a sin to commit suicide. You don't have the right to take any life including your own. It's an unforgivable sin. I don't think anything is going to be enough to make me think about suicide.
If you're depressed enough, in agonizing pain, drunk, and alone - you might think about it. In fact, you might attempt it twice and somehow fail each time.Jasabong wrote: Sat Feb 21, 2026 5:17 pm If you're a Christian, it's a sin to commit suicide. It's easier to get to that point than you think.

And as @Shawn noted, we can get to that point very quickly but I believe God understands to a large extent.
And as with the hell doctrine, a lot of Christians have a cruel take on suicide.
The sin against the Holy Ghost is unforgiveable in this life, or the next.JesusBoy wrote: Tue Feb 24, 2026 3:00 pm I feel like no sin is unforgivable.
As long as you believe that you are forgiven and accept Jesus.
