I have some mental illness. I did teaching for many years but stopped and not been able to ease into another career. I do have a bachelor's degree.
What did you eat for breakfast?
Supposedly I have 2nd degree autism. But this wasn't diagnosed until 2023.Shawn wrote: Mon Feb 16, 2026 5:57 pm What mental illnesses?
Can you not take medication (often affordable with a better job) to control it?
Do you think you do? I mean do you agree with them?
I ask because, if you're misdiagnosed, you'll live a whole life a different way than you could have.
I was super anti-social at one time, and would even shake and barely be able to talk when I was around strangers. Now I can do public speaking to 1,000 people looking right at me. I'm the most social person in the room.
I would have hated to have to live a life and miss out on everything because I thought I was truly anti-social or something was wrong with me.
I think it was worse in the past.Shawn wrote: Thu Feb 19, 2026 12:05 amDo you think you do? I mean do you agree with them?
